Position : FileNet Architect Requirement
Location: Minneapolis, MN

Rate: 80/hr. C2C
*Description of Work to Be Performed and the Specific Skill Sets Needed:

*Roles and Responsibilities:*
The *FileNet Architect* will provide Solutioning and Design for the
implementation of FileNet P8 as Hennepin County’s Enterprise Content
Management system.
In conjunction with other technical staff on the project team, work will
include:
· Facilitates productive planning with internal stakeholders to
understand short and long term business needs and develop enterprise-wide
solutions for Content management and Information governance.
· Participates and provides guidance in technology and functional
planning processes to help develop standards and solutions for the
enterprise.
· Provides expert assessments of new technologies to determine
suitability and alignment with enterprise technology standards and
enterprise strategies.
· Provides architectural and technical leadership on assigned
projects.
· Develops High-Level Solution Designs and Presentations and leads
the development of Technical Specifications.
· Ensures technical nonfunctional requirements, including security,
performance, scalability, and reliability, get addressed in addition to the
business’ functional requirements.
· Provides technical guidance and oversight to Architects,
Development, and Implementation teams in the design, development and
implementation of highly scalable, maintainable solutions that meet the
business need effectively.
· Provides blueprints, guidance, and mentoring for development
teams to ensure implementation of a solution that utilizes patterns and
frameworks appropriately and is in compliance with SDLC, Audit, and
Industry best practices and standards.
· Experience with Agile development methodologies for ECM programs
will be a plus. Provides proactive leadership in uncovering, diagnosing and
resolving current or potential issues.
· Provides mentoring & training to county technical resources.

Needed:
*
· Experience working as a FileNet Solutions Architect
· Experience leading the development of technical standards,
resource estimates, security and best practices for large FileNet
deployments
· Recent experience leading deployments of FileNet P8 5.x, ICN,
Datacap, Case Manager, Records Manager and Content Collector, Content
Navigator
· Experience in Architecture & Design for IBM ECM platform
· Experience in IBM ECM Platform Sizing/Capacity Planning/
· Strong analytical and technical skills
· Good verbal and written communication
*List of Deliverables, e.g. what the consultant(s) will be expected to
accomplish:*
· Technical Design and Solutions documentation for rolling out
FileNet P8
· Security Framework and Recommendations documentation
· Identification and estimation of Architectural tasks for the
overall project plan
· Follow issue management process and manage it in cooperation with
project management
· Architectural documentation created/utilized in the project
· Training documentation as needed to be utilized by technical staff
· Active project team member
