This person has to have an understanding of infrastructure as well as a recent track record of full infrastructure automation. Automation of virtualization, networking, security, storage, and all related components of a web architecture, including containerization strategies. Infrastructure Automation Engineer will work on cutting edge technology, using all the newest tools. This position will be critical to moving Sabre to automation of all routine tasks. You will collaborate with server, network and database teams in designing system automation for provisioning and operations remediation. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* * Analyzes and defines functional, non-functional and business requirements for software development. * Assists with training and mentoring of other development staff in requirements gathering. * Design highly automation solutions across a wide variety of technologies, tools and providers. * Proven understanding or automation solutions through enterprise implementations * Proven understanding and implementation of languages and products currently used for workflow automation. * Utilizes and mentors scripting, workflow and other business process definitions. * Defines processes and procedures for integration testing and writes unit tests to ensure high quality applications and to meet business requirements. EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related area of study. EXPERIENCE: 5+ years’ experience with Automation solution design and implementation is preferred. ServiceNow, HPSA, CSA, HPOO and various cloud API knowledge is preferred. **Extra notes** 5+ years’ experience with Automation solution design and implementation is preferred. This one implements infrastructure architecture and specifically eliminates routine tasks and automates those. Majority of automatons written in Perl, BASH, shell scripts, windows power shell scripts - not dealing with application releases. Automate or control API's and build scripts/orchestrations to deal with infrastructure issues.
