Main Responsibilities:
• Become a valued member of our Agile Team.
• Work closely with the Scrum Master and Application Development Lead to
ensure team and organization standards are followed and the team is
consistently focused on continuous improvements and sustained delivery.
• Participate in Release and Iteration Planning meetings with the team and
other key stakeholders.
• Employ simple design and pragmatic implementation techniques to drive
business value.
• Adopt a quality first mindset.
QUALIFICATION
• 8+ years experience working as an Application Developer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related
field or the foreign equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment.
Technologies
• 5+ years of solid knowledge and expertise in IBM ODM 8.Xversion, Java,
J2EE (WebSphere Application Server), Web Services, XML, DB (Oracle or
other), Unix/Linux
• ODM Developer would need to have at least 5 years of technical expertise
in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of Rules
Projects and ensure that the projects meets or exceed specified standards
and end-user requirements.
• Experience in migrating from JRules to Operational Decision Management
(ODM)
• Experience in working on ODM with Websphere.
• Experience in setting up decision center.
• 5 years of experience in development of rule engine or in complex event
processing (IBM ODM, JRules, iLog).
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at different
levels of management.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team.
• Good knowledge of relation database, specifically Oracle (SQL - PL/SQL).
• Exposure to SOA.
• Strong knowledge of web services.
• Experience of test driven development with JUnit.
• Experience in a continuous integration environment.
• Experience in Financial Industry is a plus.
