*Position: * *SQL Developer with ETL Exp. * *Location : Detroit, MI* *Duration: 12+ Months (May Extend Long Term)* *Interview Mode: 1st round phone interview* * 2nd round in person-paid by Client* *Job Description* · The Senior Data Warehouse Engineer (DWE) is responsible for the full life cycle of back-end development of the data warehouse. · Responsibilities include the development of ETL processes, dimensional design of the table structure, cube development for performance and database administration. · The DWE will work closely with the Business Analyst to work through business requirements and develop processes necessary to provide visibility into the data via the centralized data warehouse and reporting platform. · The DWE will also work closely with the front-end developers to ensure data being brought in and managed is clean, accurate, available and complete. The DWE will help to ensure the data warehouse processes are running optimally. · If you’re the type of person who keeps your skills sharp, is constantly reading about new technology and participates in online communities for database administrators, then you’re the type of person we’re looking for. * Job Responsibilities* · Design and support the database and table schemas for new and evolving sources of data brought into the data warehouse · Create and support the ETL to facilitate bringing data into the data warehouse using SQL Server Integration Services · Create and support the SQL Server Analysis Services cubes to help with query performance · Act as the go-to person for team members and leaders both inside and outside of the team · Share best practices to help develop others · Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues on the data warehouse servers · Follow the design principles and best practices defined by the team for data warehousing techniques and architecture · Generate new ideas and execute on solutions that make a difference · Participate in an on-call rotation · Participate in production code pushes after regular business hours *Job Requirement* · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field · Five years of experience with SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 T-SQL coding and database administration · Five years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services or similar ETL tool · Five years of experience with SQL Server Analysis Services · Five years of programming experience (VBScript, .Net) · Experience leading small project teams and mentoring others · Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done every time · Ability to complete responsibilities effectively and efficiently with minimal direction · Reliable and works independently to get the job done · Seeks feedback and is willing to act on feedback · Seeks out new challenges and growth opportunities · Lives the ISMs and demonstrates them in our culture every single day · Has exceptional communication skills *Regards* *Vikas Gupta* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions* *221,Cornwell Dr, Bear, DE 19701* *Email :[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Contact No : 302-261-3207 X 109* *Hangout :vikas9181.vsg* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
