*Job Description:*
*Position Summary*
We are looking for strong software engineers to build world-class,
first-generation mobile applications for iOS and Android,
including iPhone, iPad, Android Phones, and Android Tablets. You will build
apps to realize our vision of “Real Estate Made Easy”,
that simplify and streamline every aspect of real estate transactions, for
buyers, sellers, agents, brokers, appraisers, title companies, and others.
We need problem solvers to build simple, beautiful customer interfaces for
complex business problems.
You will work in an agile team, working directly with product management,
UX designers, and other experienced engineers.
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern object-oriented language such as
Java, Objective C, or Python
- 3+ years professional experience in software development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Recommended Experience and Skills*
- Prior experience building mobile applications
- Experience building customer-facing user interfaces.
- Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Able to operate at highly varying levels of abstraction including
business strategy, product strategy, technical design and implementation.
- Full-stack system design awareness or experience.
- Strong understanding of networking, and performance in a distributed
environment.
- Solid understanding of web development and web technologies.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices
for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards,
code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and
operations.
- Strong product and engineering ownership, able to make product and
engineering decisions that make sense over the long term.
