Provide day-to-day database support for the CCTI/CCP data warehouse environment 2. Assist with troubleshooting of system and application performance related issues and recommend fixes. 3. Provide support for performance testing the CAE and CCP applications Skills 1. Ability to work off-hours and weekends when necessary 2. 3 – 5 years of hands-on DB2 UDB experience in an AIX environment 3. Experience reviewing SQL to address performance problems 4. Strong Unix skills ü Command line processing ü Reading, writing, executing, troubleshooting user scripts 1. Microsoft Office experience in, at a minimum, Outlook, WORD, Excel 2. Comfortable receiving instructions from lead DBA and then working independantly 3. Experience, from a database perspective, dealing with Websphere Application Sever, HTTP Server, MQSeries and Cognos 4. Experience with Q-Replication 5. Experience in Performance monitoring/testing COGNOS applications 6. Experience with DPF (Data Partitioning Facility).
