Position: Sr. Business or Data Analyst (Healthcare , Medical Claims) Location:NYC,NY Duration:Longterm (2years) Rate : $43/hr on Corp to Corp Description: We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Sr. Business Analyst / Data Analyst – Medical Claims. Candidate Interacts with the business users to gather requirements, functional, specifications; Analyzes and documents the collected information. Assists in developing applications. Excellent knowledge of Healthcare and Medical Claims. Engagement Location, Hours and Duration: The engagement will take place at our NYC location. Consultant during this engagement is expected to travel 10% within the 5 boroughs of NYC. 2. Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Liaison between Business users, IT and Application developers • Gather business and functional requirements from business users of claims department and coordinate with information technology department • Perform detailed analysis of inbound and outbound interface data feeds • Convert business requirements into functional specifications. Analyze functional requirements and collect all requirements and document processes. • Ability to perform dataflow mapping in a cross-platform environment • Convert all gathered information in to Data flow, process flow and use case diagrams • Carry out data analysis and help in developing validation and verification criteria and test cases 3. Qualifications / Required Skill: • 8+ years of experience in Computer systems, databases, software and related fields • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare and related technologies and Claims processing • 3+ years of hands on experience of Analysis, SQL queries and reporting tools • Excellent written and oral communication skill • Expert knowledge of Medical terminology or clinical background preferred • Excellent writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills • Healthcare IT experience with HIE and EHR system knowledge • Expert knowledge of medical claims filing, claims process and its terminology. • Business requirements analysis and documentation experience • Healthcare, hospital, privacy, and HIPAA policy analysis experience • Business system design experience • Ability to analyze database schematics • Test planning and execution experience • SDLC and methodology familiarity • Effort, schedule, and resource estimation experience *Thanks & Regards,* *Abid Hassan* | Fax: (408) 273 - 6002 Thanks and Regards, *E-mail: *a...@allianceit.com <ut...@allianceit.com> |*Website*: http://www.allianceit.com *Note:** We respect your online privacy.
