*Duration: 6+ month contract* *Send Resumes at [email protected] <[email protected]>* ESSENTIAL DUTIES 1. Design, analyze, code, test, debug, modify and document moderately complex applications requiring thorough knowledge of business applications and processes with limited supervision. 2. Quickly convert concepts and ideas into solutions through the preparation of detailed specifications consistent with the IS development methodology for business application projects and customizations that will be integrated with existing applications. 3. Analyze and modify existing business applications and processes, and provide recommendations for system and process improvements. 4. Diagnose and resolve problems in the maintenance and support of business applications. 5. Interact with client and technical teams to define requirements, resolve issues and develop solutions. 6. Provide input when reviewing new business application designs to ensure consistency with business objectives and technical standards. 7. Operate within a complex product and business environment requiring the ability to manage multiple requests. Able to work independently and maintain focus on priority tasks. 8. Collaborate with the business and management teams to develop efficient plans, processes, timelines and work required for addressing all identified support and upgrade activities. 9. Partner with end-users and technical staff to diagnose and resolve problems relating to a variety of business processes. MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience: Demonstrated information systems experience required, to include proven experience with Oracle R12 ERP or enterprise-wide programming for complex, multi-platform databases. 5+ years of experience in an Oracle applications environment, Oracle Programming skills (SQL, PL/SQL), Oracle Forms 10g, Oracle Reports 10g, XML Publisher, Web ADI, Discoverer Administration, and Unix Scripting. Ideal candidate will have 5 years of progressively more responsible Oracle development experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a production Oracle R12 applications environment. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Java Development environment using Oracle JDeveloper and Oracle Application Framework, Oracle SOA Suite 11g (WebLogic and BPEL) and Change Management Systems. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Ability to convert concepts and ideas into finished solutions, through the collaboration with business users of varing experience. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a full lifecycle environment including production support. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and attentiveness to detail required. Experience working with a minimum of one of the following Oracle modules: Finance, HR, Payroll, LD, Projects, Grants, iExpense, and iProcurement. Experience developing Web Services and integration methodologies coupled with the knowledge and experience with Oracle SOA Suite 11g, Web Services, ADF, JSF, JSP, XML/XSL, and BPEL.
