*Job Title: Business Analyst—No client interview*

*Duration: 12+ Months*

*Rate $40/hr C2C *

*Location: Schaumburg, IL*

*Visa copy is Mandatory for the submission. *

*Someone form Big data/Data science environment would be good but not
mandatory*

*Max exp-5-6 years*

1. The project involves creation of a software tool concerning data
science. Software development experience is appreciated.

As mentioned, it would be preferable to have someone with software
development experience where one has worked with the software development
team, QA and stakeholders closely.

2. The role involves translation of business requirements into
technical specifications for the tool.

If the project for which the new BA is hired involves Data Science too, it
would be a strong requirement (perhaps not mandatory) to have someone who
is familiar with statistics/data science/market research. This will help
define the business scope of the project. Basically, the BA would have to
very clearly understand which requirements of the clients fit into the
scope and which don’t, and for this the BA must be able to clearly
understand what the business does and why it needs a particular
requirement. Then this must be taken to development team (who is assumed to
have little to no knowledge of technical statistical details) and explained
to the dev team very clearly as to what the user expects, manage a balance
between what can be done and what cannot after getting feedback from Dev
team and ultimately making sure that both parties (dev team and
Stakeholders) are in agreement regarding the final tool features that are
to be delivered.

3. As part of the role, specific diagrams which help in communication of
requirements to concerned stake holders is necessary. I have experience
with similar diagrams and mentioned it to the client as well. I will be
reading up these diagrams upon getting sufficient info on the first day.

So far the necessity has not come up for me to present the requirements in
a particular diagram format. I have been preparing documentation in the
form of Use Cases. I then transfer these finalized requirements to a tool
named JAMA. It would be preferable (but not really necessary) to have
someone who knows JAMA too. Hope this helps
