Here are the details and JD:
The need is for up to 5 Android Developers for a minimum of 6 months, but
likely to be extended beyond 12 months.
Here are the requirements for the Android positions:
Essential Functions:
• 3+ years of design and build advanced applications for the
Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and
ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and API’s
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability,
and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies
to maximize development efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven software development experience
• Proven working experience in Android development
• Must speak, read and write English fluently
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the culture, that
is, exhibit values of Compliance, Respect, Innovation, Responsibility,
Teamwork
• Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Experience with Android SDK (Java development experience. C
development is a plus)
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures,
trends, and emerging technologies
• Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to generate
design solutions
• Demonstrated ability to define and enhance engineering design
processes
• Demonstrated ability to interact and present ideas and solutions
with customers (internal and external)
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and
Internet Explorer
• Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Results oriented
• Ability to work in a team development environment
• Able to work with and in close proximity of fellow Team members
• Ability to prioritize workload
Work Environment:
• Normal office, the noise level in the work environment is usually
quiet
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while
maintaining accuracy and efficiency
• Must be willing to travel on a limited basis (within USA)
