*Description:*

This person will be assisting with the *planning, budgeting and resourcing*
of AOP pre-approved projects. One project is to create new internet circuit
between 2 major hubs across US. The second project will be, working on the
WAN optimization refresh project. Good understanding of how to deal
with *enterprise
cross matrix projects* as well as *manage complex technical network
projects* is required. Additional skills are vendor management since they
will be leveraging our third party vendors and have the ability to do *high
level planning and budgeting*. Should be good with *MS project, sharepoint
and some ServiceNow* experience for ticket submissions.



Keep in mind *projects/programs* are *very complex* in nature, rarely
follow a repeatable framework, typically *span multiple business units* or
are *company-wide*, and require a *high level of analysis*. Project/Program
Manager will manage these projects/programs *from initiation through
delivery*. The project/program manager will be responsible for meeting the
project/program requirements by applying project management skills, tools,
and techniques to manage the project/program scope, quality, schedule,
budget, resources, and risk.



*Basic Qualifications (Must Haves):*

·         5+ years of recent *data network and/or IT infrastructure* *project
management* experience.

·         At least mid-level, general knowledge of *data networking and/or
IT infrastructure*.

·         Ability to direct the *diagnosis of work flow problems, critical*
paths and institute remedies.

·         Ability to read and understand *financial metrics* and identify
remedies to financial issues.

·         *Customer service orientation* with a strong problem solving
approach.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to manage and process multiple data streams.

·         Strong capabilities around planning, analysis, and development of
project plans & proposals.

·         Proactive approach; strong sense of ownership and urgency.

·         Ability to indirectly lead teams of engineers and maintain focus
while soliciting ideas from cross-functional teams.
