*Position: * *QA Automation Tester * *Location : * *San Diego(Rancho Bernardo) , CA Duration : 3-6 Months * *Interview Mode: Phone then Face to Face* Must haves: · *QTP experience* – will be modifying existing scripts. · *Selenium experience* – any experience is good – if they know QTP, they can pick up Selenium pretty easily · Any experience with Business Logic is a plus Job Description · Actively participate in testing of new development and product enhancements. Job Responsibilities · Test planning, design, and execution for applications within an agile development environment. · Perform testing across multiple products utilizing manual and automated tools and technologies. · Develop and maintain test plans and test cases in Quality Center or similar tools. · Plan and conduct various types of testing: functional, integration, regression, workflow and load testing. · Track and report on status of testing and bugs along with providing estimated timeframes for resolution. · Develop and maintain simple automation scripts. · Use of testing tools like QTP and Selenium for testing windows-based and web-based applications. · Extensive testing of business logic and business rules engines. Job Requirement · BS Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience). · Minimum of 7 years of experience testing software products. · Minimum of 3 years of experience testing business rules and rules engines. · Experience with Testing Automation tools such as QTP and Selenium. · Knowledge of TFS and Jira. · In depth knowledge of planning, design and execution of all aspects of testing including: Functional, Integration, Load, and Regression testing. · Experience with testing Web and Windows applications . · Experience with "white-box" testing using C#. · Knowledge and hands use of SQL data bases: Oracle and/or SQL Server. · Experience with XML and scripting tools like Jscript are a big plus. · Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective troubleshooting skills in resolving complex issues. · Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodology. · Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company both verbally and in writing. · Demonstrates a courteous, tactful and professional approach with employees and others. · Ability to accurately establish the length and difficulty of tasks and projects, set reasonable objectives and goals, anticipate and adjust for problems/roadblocks and measure results against goals. · Ability to perform and orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously. · Ability to perform special assignments as requested by the Management team of Product Development · Ability to coordinate the software development lifecycle processes with cost perspective.
