*Position : Team Lead Web Developer* *Location : Southlake, TX* *Duration : 6-8 months * *Rate : $65 CTC* *Hands on technical lead to help define next gen E2E Web application to be used at Airline call center for creating Airline bookings and at Airports for checkin/boarding activities.* Re-architecting a whole application (Interact)– java swing based heavy client looking to change to web app Airline industry exp is not a must but a plus Candidate must be particularly strong on front end but must know back end as well Web stack (configuring tomcat servers, http servers Working with DB is an absolute must (oracle, NoSQL) Application is used by airline agents for reservation and airports – anything to do with check ins and boarding – have 70+ customers that use it today Current team size is 100+ worldwide This team is established for piloting the update worldwide Growth in this role is imminent Travel will be necessary eventually, possibly to Bangalore, India, once several releases have been made and after conversion Candidate must be a hands on developer/architect Must haves: Javascript***latest UI frameworks preferred React AngularJs End to end knowledge – complete web front and back end knowledge As a Lead Developer, responsible for writing and maintaining some of our most critical code, in addition to being the technical lead for 5-10 developers. Our team environment is critical to our success, so you’ll be expected to work effectively in a team environment, exchanging ideas, building consensus and mentoring others where needed. The individual should have working knowledge of all phases of the product life cycle, including engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, testing - including unit, functional, systems and integration. Expected to know how different systems interact, including potential problems and difficulties that may occur; and demonstrate ability to understand and document internal and external processes and work flows Expected to be resourceful and innovative, with the ability to quickly and creatively develop solutions to complex business problems, while also providing direction and leadership for your team. REQUIRED SKILLS: 5+ years required previous team lead experience preferable, not required, previous project management experience preferable, not required previous travel industry experience preferable, not required EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Prior lead/supervisory experience preferred. Advanced computer software skills.
