Job Role: *Web Developer** * Duration: 3 Months Rate: $DOE/hr C2C Bit low rate Location: Arlington, VA* * *Applicants MUST include a link to their online portfolio or provide links to previous work. Applicants who do not submit sample urls will not be considered. * We are looking for an experienced, senior Front End Engineer contractor to help the development team launch a very intensive redesign of the client website. In this capacity, you will write standards-compliant xhtml, css, and unobtrusive javascript. You will work with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create enhanced user experiences through your expertise in client-side development. You will work on various projects ranging from templates to conceptual prototypes to production-level components, for the world's largest user generated recipe site - Recipezaar.com. The environment is fast-paced with numerous ITERATIVE development cycles. Lead roles and HANDS-ON experience working on large web applications, and working with off-shore developers a plus. The architecture is a hybrid Javaand PHP with Smarty Templates backend, with a heavy Ajax and DHTML front end.
