Need Lead Websphere Portal Developer
*Location : * *MI-Michigan/Auburn HillsDuration : 10+ Months * *M.O.I : Phone Then Skype* Portal/Application Technical Lead - Application Engineer type person that understands the full picture TAD/SID of what they are implementing. - A person who can lead the application developers by navigating the team with coding and technical issues. - Understands the full picture how it all fits together and works with integrating with all the pieces such as RSA, Data Power and ITIM/ITAM. Key things the person in this position needs: - knowledge of Portal experience - hands on experience developing applications - worked on JAVA applications - ISIM/ISAM (easy to pick up on, experience not necessary) and integration points. - some idea and familiarity of architecture how servers are built and configurations can be done - read and understand SIDs - some configuration knowledge and software integration knowledge - needs to know technologies or capabilities to absorb this knowledge at least Also, looking to possibly flipping this person to full time. Job Function Summary: The Application Technical Lead position administratively reports to the Application Development Services Manager and is directly assigned to the Technical Project Manager. The Application Technical Lead is responsible for partnering with the Technical Project Manager to monitor and oversee the deliverables of the application technical team for a project. This may include overseeing all the application technical resources (and the quality of their specific deliverables) or a portion of the application technical resources (and the quality of their specific deliverables). The Application Technical Lead will be used on projects that have multiple application interfaces.
