Title: Business Systems Analyst Duration: 9-12 months Location: Broomfield, CO Contract to Hire Job Responsibilities: Seeking an energetic Business Systems Analyst to lead the translation of business requirements into actionable unambiguous technical requirements for software scrum teams. We are building software products that will have a significant impact on the healthcare industry. This position will work within one of the largest companies in the US, but in a dynamic team in the Boulder/Denver area focused on agility, speed, flexibility and fun. You will work with business requirements holders, product owners, architects, designers, engineers and QA staff within a scrum team to deliver high-quality products and software development projects from inception to operation. The ideal candidate will have experience writing testable requirements & user stories for fast-paced scrum teams, documenting just enough to help the team quickly deliver high-quality features while providing clients their required traceability and documentation. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with Product Owners, engineering team and QA to ensure requirements & stories have unambiguous acceptance criteria and test cases. Primary Responsibilities: • Evaluate business requirements and prepare the detailed functional and technical specifications that follow project guidelines • Work closely with Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure requirements and design are completely understood • Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the organization • Act as the liaison between Business and Systems Analysts, Developers and project management groups • Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution • Work closely with business teams to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives • Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements with measurable results • Collaborate with QA team to ensure testing efforts align with system deliveries and business processes • Lead and mentor other Systems Analysts Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis/Product Owner • 5+ years of experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) /System Development Life Cycle • 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into a detailed system specification • 5+ years of experience mapping data from web services or database to user interface • Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint • 5+ years of Relational Database experience Preferred Qualifications: • Health care experience • Experience working with test plans and test cases • Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions • Experience working in an SCRUM environment or familiarity with Agile methodology/Scaled Agile Framework The following qualifications are a plus * Experience developing software or products for the healthcare industry * Experience leading, coaching and mentoring junior analysts onsite, offsite or offshore * Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team (Java, Ruby/Rails, MySQL) *Thanks & Regards,* *Abid Hassan* | Fax: (408) 273 - 6002 Thanks and Regards, *E-mail: *a...@allianceit.com <ut...@allianceit.com> |*Website*: http://www.allianceit.com *Note:** We respect your online privacy.
