We're seeking an outstanding Senior Designer with deep experience in brand
and product marketing across web e-commerce, in-app, and offline channels,
to create innovative campaigns that engage and inspire our customers.

*Primary responsibilities include:*

·      Work closely with current in-house copy, design and product
development team to concept and design in alignment with Company’s
marketing and brand building strategies to increase acquisition rate,
retention and level of member engagement.

·      Work closely with the copywriters and Product Development team to
concept and implement the overall look and feel of the outbound customer
communications materials and website offering, including online (e.g.
website pages, banners, online member newsletters, and HTML email
campaigns) and offline channels (e.g. print advertising, corporate
collateral and trade show materials).

·      Work in an iterative testing environment in which creative
performance is measured and data is used to monitor and improve
performance.  Develop unique concepts. Make every test count.

·      Remain current with industry best practices and apply them to the
development of new creative

*About You:*

You’re an experienced Designer with excellent problem-solving skills. Your
passion to create and innovate is what drives all of your design solutions,
from concept through design and development. You’re obsessed with
perfection, a pixel-aware designer who’s fanatical with the details. You
have a deep understanding of typography, color theory, composition,
interaction design and responsive design—knowing how to maximize design
layouts for varying displays.  You’re able to jump into the fray and
contribute to design, surrounding compelling consumer audio experiences.
You’re a born collaborator, eager to work side-by-side with high
performance multidisciplinary copywriters, marketing managers, UX
designers, product managers and developers to explore the limits of audio
content discovery and consumption experiences.

*Key Responsibilities:*

·      Create elegant and useful designs that make an emotional connection
with abroad consumer base.

·      Distill marketing requirements into clear, understandable design
solutions and clearly rationalize your strategic thinking to the team.

·      Create end-to-end design consistency and design systems that define
our brand across platforms (web and mobile)..

·      Communicate your ideas through sketches and mock-ups and
storyboards, producing design solutions for every surface.

·      Create dev-ready assets for your designs with clear implementation
instructions(i.e. redlines and style guides).

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design solutions for
commerce driven projects.

·      Work seamlessly with the team to develop and maintain the Audible
aesthetics, standards and brand integrity.

*Skills/Experience Requirements:*

·      4+ years of experience as a designer, 2+ years product marketing
experience.

·      Internet solicitation and retention experience required. Email,
membership and/or continuity club experience preferred.

·      Outstanding portfolio, especially in the areas of lifecycle
communications and customer communications across platforms. We are
interested in seeing samples of how your work has grown with a long term
client or company (if in-house).

·      Ability to create forward-thinking concepts across interactive and
traditional media while maintaining corporate branding standards and
delivering against creative briefs.

·      Experience collaborating with external creative agencies, internal
stakeholders.

·      Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding
deadlines, producing high-quality work and projecting a positive attitude.

·      Contribute to discussions with cross-functional teams to incorporate
design feedback appropriately.

·      Fluency in best practices for mobile and web-based design, as well
as strong knowledge of information architecture.

·      Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, including
the ability to communicate effectively in small groups to defend your
designs.

·      Stay current with the latest design and technology trends across
web, desktop, and mobile platforms, and adopt modern techniques as
appropriate.

·      Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign and Fireworks. Experience with After Effects and
prototyping tools is a plus.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

·      Be a self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and
an enthusiastic team player.

·      Familiarity with the technical considerations required when
designing for multiple devices (i.e. HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
