Skills : Websphere Commerce Location : Miami, Florida Hourly Rate ($): $50 This Websphere Application Server senior engineer position requires a profile with sound knowledge in IBM WAS / IBM Portal and IBM Commerce and extensive experience in scripting. He should have knowledge on ·Provisioning and patching: ·JVM analysis. ·consultation with IBM ·Application deployment ·Web Sphere configuration change - like heap size change , connection pool setting , password reset etc. . ·perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tracing ·apply fixes and fix packs * Expert support experience with Web sphere Application Server , Portal Server and Commerce server will be added advantage. • Expert level defining and modifying Web sphere configuration such as data sources, listener ports, transports, Name Space Bindings, Web sphere Plugin • Expert level experience administering Apache Web Server. Creating apache start up scripts. Modifying apache configuration such as Document Root, Rewrite Rules and creating virtual hosts • Expert level automating common tasks and writing scripts in Python, Ruby, Perl, Korn and Bourne Shell. Writing scripts for clearing logs, monitoring server performance, Restarting JVMs, Supporting Distributed Date changes etc. • Hands on experience in troubleshooting, security, failover and work load management of UNIX environments, i.e. AIX, HP, Linux • Knowledge of Web servers/Web Proxies (Apache, iPlanet.
