Job title: *Java with NMS / EMS developer * Location: Chelmsford, MA Rate: $*55*/hr C2C Duration: 6+ months *Job Summary and Major Responsibilities* The individual will be part of a team of developers working on the company’s core product line which manages their Ethernet and Optical Transport products. Job responsibilities will include writing functional / design specifications, developing software for new applications, device support and implementing new features and functionality for the platform. The candidate must be a self starter, highly motivated with the ability to come up with innovative solutions for complex design problems. *Tasks on this project include:* Task 1 - Add Custom Authentication model to validate Pro-Vision Client against an extern LDAPS (LDAP Secure) server via PAM in order to support centralized authentication Task 2 - Customize the WebNMS authentication scope and permissions tree to incorporate our new custom Pro-Vision menus Task 3 – Provide additional platform development support as needed in order to support release schedule *Qualifications/Experience* This position requires an undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 5+ years of work experience in the industry. The individual must be fluent in *JAVA/GUI* programming. Past experience working on Network Management Platforms and GUI design is required.
