Job Description
This role will provide technical support and consulting services on all IT
related matters, including laptop and desktop hardware, peripherals, desk
phones and mobile phones as well as having in-depth knowledge with
administering VOIP systems, network switch configurations, Windows servers,
video conferencing systems, and other backend systems and services. The
position will also provide ad hoc training on application use and various
internal process and procedures as well as assist in ordering hardware,
inventory management and other system administrative tasks, as needed.
The successful candidate must be capable of providing optimum customer
service to a wide variety of users through professional commitment and
dedication. This candidate must also be able to adapt to change and learn
quickly in a fast growing and highly dynamic environment. This job may
require occasional evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
•    Troubleshoot issues on multiple computer platforms: Macintosh,
Windows, Linux, and mobile devices
•    Experience with creating, modifying, and updating images as well as
other methods of OS installation
•    Experience providing services to organizations spread across multiple
locations and collaborating remotely with staff in remote locations
•    Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer
workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices and telecommunications
equipment.
•    Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and
software (certifications from A+ or N+ are a plus).
•    Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with
application software and operating systems; determine the source of
problems and classify their level, priority and nature.
•    Provide advanced support for multiple enterprise applications
including: e-mail, calendar scheduling, word processing, spreadsheets,
presentations, Internet browsers, as well as specialized
department-specific applications
•    Performs remedial repairs on computers, laptops, printers and any
other peripheral equipment
•    Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops,
printers and any other peripheral equipment
•    Dealing with hardware and application support queries and issues
reported to the support desk and escalated to the Desktop Support
Administrator
•    Provide user data and application recovery
•    Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems
assigned to the Desktop Support Administrator.
•    Develop trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls, problems
and support requests Operational
•    Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations,
settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions
•    Responsible for tracking hardware and software inventory
•    Experience with creating, modifying, and updating images as well as
other methods of OS installation
•    Experience providing services to organizations spread across multiple
locations and collaborating remotely with staff in remote locations
•    Provide end user support for various models of the iPhone, Android,
and other Active Sync mobile devices
•    Experience supporting and administering a corporate VOIP phone system
•    Experience supporting a video conferencing system
•    Good knowledge of various hardware types and form factors
•    Ensure that resolutions are consistent with company standards

Requirements
•    Prefer 5+ years IT experience, including technical training
•    Self-starter and fanatical about providing excellent customer service,
follow-through, and ongoing communication to internal customers
•    Expert knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
suite of applications
•    Advanced knowledge of Macintosh and Linux platforms
•    Experience in using PC-based word processing, presentation, and e-mail
software preferred
•    Knowledge of network configurations: LAN, WLAN, Wirele
