Looking for a Java UI Developer with excellent J2EE development skills to
join the client's development team.
Please consider joining a team of developers who are performing a custom
Java development project.
You will be responsible for developing screens based on a defined
architecture using Java J2EE, AngularJS, Spring, Hibernate, JQuery and
JavaScript.
This is a multi-year project.
Would like to see candidates who have Websphere and Versata experience
Responsibilities
• Work closely with client business and technical teams
• Conduct research necessary to complete task orders
• Provide time estimate for assigned tasks and deliverables
• Ability to respond to functional and technical elements
• Responsible for developing, testing and deploying code
• Perform code walk through and defend your solution
• Conduct or participate in meetings as needed
• Acting as a mentor, bring to bear your technical prowess to further along
the solution and client team skills
Tasks
• Develop Design Related Documents.
• Create requirements and design documentation related to new or modified
programming interfaces.
• This documentation is including, but not limited to, use cases, flow
charts, requirements specifications, design documentation and system
specifications.
• Develop and Test Interface Programming Modules.
• Modify existing inbound and/or outbound interfaces to EFIS/Advantage to
support business change requests.
• These modification tasks include writing new or modifying existing code,
building test cases, generating test data,
performing tests of their code, performing integration testing,
documenting test results and documenting release notes.
• Build new inbound and/or outbound interface(s) to support EFIS/Advantage
functional changes.
• These tasks include writing new interface code, building test cases,
generating test data, performing tests of the new code,
performing integration testing, documenting test results and documenting
release notes.
• All of the foregoing work and work product must pass acceptance testing
and satisfy all acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge Transfer.
• Provide knowledge transfer activities including, but not limited to,
providing walkthroughs with and sessions to Caltrans staff,
design reviews, code reviews and testing reviews, as specified by
Caltrans standards.
Qualifications:
Ideally, would like to see the following:
1) Three (3) years of experience in the development and support of medium
to large sized ERP systems.
2) Three (3) years knowledge and experience in PL/SQL in Oracle Databases
11g/12c.
3) Three (3) years development experience in Versata Logic Server 5.6, and
Java programming.
4) Three (3) years programming experience in IBM WebSphere 6.1 or above.
5) Additional knowledge and experience is preferred in the following areas:
a. Understanding of Adobe LiveCycle product
b. At least one (1) year experience working with the in the Federal
Highway Administration (FHWA) billing interface process
c. At least one (1) year experience in the California Employment
Development Department (EDD) billing code process
d. At least one (1) year developing reconciliation processes for
interfaces to financial systems
e. Knowledge of the State of California’s FI$CAL project and its
procurement reporting requirements for state agencies.
f. Understanding of the CGI Financial version 3.7 technical architecture
