*Job Description:*
- We would like an embedded application level (not GUI) C++ engineer.
*Required Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or
Computer Science
- 4+ years of embedded software development experience
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
- Proficiency in developing multi-process, multi-threaded, modular, and
efficient firmware for embedded applications.
- Familiarity of software development tools such as Bitbucket (git), JIRA,
Momentics/Eclipse, PC-Lint, etc.
*Nice to have skills,not required, pluses:*
- Proficiency in use of BOOST libraries or C++11.
- Proficiency in use of test equipment (Oscilloscope, logic analyzer,
meters, etc.)
- Strong background in (embedded) QNX/Linux internals (kernel, drivers etc.)
- Linux development experience.
- Network communications (TCP, UDP)
- Experience in reading an electronic schematic
- Experience in using Wireshark
*Work the contractor will be doing:*
- Participates in design & development of new product development for
medical devices (X-ray based imaging system).
- Perform embedded firmware development in C++.
- Perform firmware development on ARM platform running QNX.
- Collaborates with Systems / Hardware Engineering team during development
to develop cross-functional solutions.
- Support board bring up activities for newly designed PCB(s).
