Kindly share the resumes of your consultants for the below requirement. *Please check the complete JD before submission.* *Skills : DB2 Systems Admin Location : Holliston, Massachusetts Hourly Rate ($): $55 * Experience – 8 to 10 years Role - Mainframes DB2 Systems Admin Technical Skills:- • DB2 z/OS V10 or V11 • CA Datacom and CA Ideal • Excellent experience with Installation, upgrade, migration, consolidation of regions and configure database Systems in accordance with standards and operational requirements • Experience in Building new DB2 subsystems in a datasharing environment • IBM Program Product installation experience – SMP/e • Experience with ISV product functionality comparisons, de-commissioning of existing products, installing new products, transitioning products from test to QA to production environments, and developing automated deployment solutions • Experience DR testing • Knowledge in Performing daily System monitoring, availability of all databases, server resources, reviewing System and database logs • Good experience in System level performance tuning like bufferpool, EDM pool, DSNZPARm changes etc.. • Support incident management processes including responding to alerts and root cause analysis. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. • Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies through contacts with application support and Technical Operations Center • Apply database patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade Database administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary to maintain control, security and stability. • Perform and manage periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning. • Experience in Configuring databases memory, disk and IO as required. • Develop scripting to automate systems engineering tasks • DB2-related ISV tools and problem solving tools • DB2 Security expertise with RACF and ACF2 • Omegamon for DB2 Monitoring tool • Experience with USS (Unix System Services) • CA Datacom & Ideal adminsitration Key Responsibilities: • Installation of new software product versions/releases • Transitioning products from test to QA to production environments, and developing automated deployment solutions • Research and apply proactive software maintenance • Provide input to management on infrastructure architecture opportunities • Conduct Production Readiness Inspections of change events, assessing impacts and risks • Develop wellness check scripts, processes and procedures • Contribute to Root Cause Investigation • Document changes to infrastructure configuration Thank you. *Tiru Moorthy * One Tiffany Pointe, #106 Bloomingdale,IL-60108 Systems Software Solutions Inc.
