This includes: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows, and User Interface development. The Application Developer will use the ABAP development language in support of an ECC 6.0, Enhancement Pack 7 environment. The developer will primarily be responsible for developments supporting FICO, SD, MM, AM and PS modules of ECC. *Key Responsibilities:* · Resolve Production support issues in a timely manner. This includes: - Working with functional specialists to understand the reported issue - Designing a solution or workaround to the reported issue - Developing and unit testing the solution - Supporting QA team and end users during integration testing of solutions - Researching and applying OSS notes · Develop assigned components of larger projects. Discovery, from time to time, undertakes large SAP projects (e.g. acquire or divest a company). The SAP Application Developer will assist in analyzing, designing and developing solutions that fill gaps identified in fit/gap analysis. · Provide Upgrade support. *Requirements:* · Minimum of Six (6) years of SAP ABAP development experience. Three or more on ECC 6.0. · Experience supporting the following SAP modules: FICO, SD, MM (PS and SRM a plus). This knowledge must be demonstrated by knowing things such as: Table names, Transactions, common Classes or Functions used in each module. · Experience developing the following SAP object types: SAPScripts, Smartforms, IDOCs/ALE, BDC, ALV reports, ABAP OO, BADIs/User Exits, Webdynpro ABAP, Dictionary Objects, Webservices or RFCs. · Understands concepts of code modularization and Reuse · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MIS or Business major preferred. · Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
