The Division will also need assistance in re-architecting a number of applications. The position needs familiarity with XML, Visual Studio/C#, Oracle, Web design and development. A familiarity with the DTI architecture is a definite plus. Contractor will be expected to convert from COM to Web Services. Ideal candidate should have good system design skills as well as programming & testing skills. The systems are all tax related. Modernized e-file, Imaging, Document processing, Financial Transactions, and Tax Filing. *Additional Role Description* This is a programming position that requires technical aptitude in full lifecycle development in C# and VB.NET. They must be a fast learner with excellent communication and problem solving skills, and able to work with minimal supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position is a Sr. developer and will be require at times to mentor junior staff on industry best practices. This consultant should have extensive experience commensurate with ADVANCED technical capabilities in development of new systems and applications. Candidates should also consider the ability/interest in converting to full time with the State of Delaware after 6 months.
