Job Title: Senior Reporting/Data Analyst

*What is the specific title of the position?* Senior Reporting/Data Analyst

*What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on
assignment?*

Risk Management Access database, Large Claim Review Access Database, Mail
Merge, SQL coding for tables used, Process execution.

*Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team?* Sole Contributor
If so, please describe the team? (Name of team, size of team, etc.)

*What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?* (Please be
detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily
basis)
1)  Data updates for LCR & RM Access databases – load data files
2)  Audit selection process – merge multiple data sets, run queries, SSIS,
SQL Stored Procedures, Vlook up
3)  Financial Savings process – SQL Stored procedures, SSIS, merge multiple
data sets, run queries
4)  Daily, weekly, monthly letter process
5)  Enrollment status update- general reporting
6)  Trouble shooting in SQL/SSIS environment

*What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily
responsibilities?*

SQL via management studio (advanced/intermediate)
SSIS (Advanced)
VBA (Intermediate)
Advanced Microsoft Office  (Advanced EXCEL)
Macro Express – (beginner/intermediate)



*What skills/attributes are a must have? *Advanced data processing skills
in a non mainframe environment
Financial & data analysis skills
Intermediate/Advanced SQL
Ability to trouble shoot/find the root cause for processing failures in SQL
and VBA

Ability to work independently and must be able to utilize past technical
expertise to resolve process/operations problems.

Great attention to detail and data integrity in all tasks

Must have the ability to effectively communicate, possess strong
oral/written skills and have process documentation experience.

Understand directives, provides feedback and conducts tasks with a sense of
urgency.

Ability to translate business needs/requirements into technical actions,
taking into consideration all business areas impacted.
