The analyst should be capable of producing a comprehensive analysis of the best solution option. The solution may be as easy as making a small change to a data feed, or be a complex solution involving interdependencies within multiple client applications. *** LOCATION UPDATE: Can be located in either AZ00 or MN If located in MN, they will have to be a rockstar as the MN location will have to be approved internally. *** Looking for SAs, not BAs. Design experience is key. MUST have prior FACETS experience as outlined in the below requirements (5+ years). IDEAL BACKGROUND: • Designers, not business analysts. Take business requirements documents created by a BA and turn them into designs from which developers can start to work. • Able to work on multiple projects concurrently. • Able to work with very little oversight and direction. • Since our clients will always be remote, must have excellent communication skills: written, verbal, meeting. • Strong personality – a driver. We need to drive projects forward, and often times the requirements we get from clients are poor – the SA must be capable of moving clients to clear requirements so we can create clear designs. • Must have at least 5 years of Facets experience, and we really want 2+ years doing design in Facets. Job Description: · A systems analyst designs new technical solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity. The work might be for an external client or an internal client (such as a department within the same organization). · Working closely with the client, the analysts examine business requirements to produce a detailed technical design for an appropriate improved IT solution. They act as the liaison between the client and the developers. · System Analyst produces outline designs and costing of new systems, specifying the operations the system will perform, and the way data will be viewed by the end-user, present their design to the client and, once it is approved, work closely with the client team to implement the solution. Requirements: · Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience · 6+ years of System Analysis experience with Facets, version 5.x preferred, in a large medical managed care organization. We want experience in a large-scale, high-volume medical healthcare organization. · 5+ years of experience working in the different phases of software development. · 5 + years of medical healthcare insurance industry experiences, with knowledge of government run programs - Medicaid, Medicare. · 4+ years of Relational Database experience. · 3+ years of writing system designs. · Understanding of data gathering/analysis. · Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle. · Experience working with test plans and test cases.
