Job Title: Facets Developer Job Type: Contract Duration: 6 months *Location : Phoenix, AZ* *Job Description* **** This position will be in Phoenix and we will not allow remote workers. If the person is not local, they'll need to relocate. Also, this person must not need sponsorship IDEAL BACKGROUND: Ideally this would be someone who started their career as a developer, has worked their way up to a more senior developer and is looking for the next step. This person would be responsible for leading multiple projects from a technical perspective. Working with the developers assigned to the project along with the rest of the project team to make sure the development tasks stay on track and adhere to standards. Medicaid and Facets experience are a plus. *** NOT looking for someone without a development background. Not looking for Project Managers. TOP REQUIREMENTS: Developer experience, good communication skills to be able to work with the business and the technical team, experience working with onshore/offshore. SOFT SKILLS: Leadership skills and analytical thinking (computer science/math/engineering background). As part of our FACETS application development team, you will predominantly be involved in leading and mentoring a team of developers for delivering business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. You'll stretch your skills and grow your career as a primary contributor in for the design, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with the established specifications and business requirements in order to deliver business value. This is a unique role on the development team where your get to understand the end to end process and contribute to building highly scalable and robust applications to meet our business needs. Primary Responsibilities: •*Predict emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them •Propose simple and effective solutions to meet the business need •Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business •Participate and contribute to the development of good application design •Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives •Isolate performance bottle necks and propose technical solutions to address them •Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences •Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches •Be the development point of contact for end to end project delivery •Strong analytical and problem solving skills •Good team player with excellent communication skills * Qualifications To be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the qualifications listed in this posting. Required Qualifications: •*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar field or equivalent relevant work experience •6+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience •6+ years of experience working as a developer on Oracle/Sybase databases, designing backend application tables, building complex functions and stored procedures, fine tuning queries to improve performance •4+ years of experience working on object oriented programming languages like Java, C# or ETL Tools like DataStage •Strong analytical, problem solving skills, must be able to work well with teams •Strong communication and interpersonal skills •Experience working in a virtual team environment * Preferred Qualifications: •*Experience working with offshore resources •Healthcare experience and exposure to EDI and HIPAA transactions •Knowledge of Trizetto Facets, or project experience supporting a claims system •Experience in Mainframe •Experience with Source Control systems (like SVN), Testing tools (like ALM) •Team lead or supervisory experience Thanks $ Regards Shilpa Gaba Technical Recruiter Sage Group Consulting,Inc.
