My client is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer for their location
Leonardtown, MD. This is a temporary position for a duration of 6
months offering an hourly rate DOE.
*About the Position*
Person will be migrating applications to AWS Cloud. Person will be
extremely comfortable with cloud
infrastructure, scripting, devops practices, and authoring operations
documentation for release.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform technical AWS diagramming, configuration, scripting,
testing, and integration activities as required for successful
migration
- Document current state and target state architectures in support
of migration
- Troubleshoot and problem solve to remediate issues prohibiting
migration or uncovered by migration
- Learn and leverage existing client Cloud tools
*Requirements*
- BS in Computer Science
- 4+ years of solid AWS experience either as an Architect,
Developer or DevOps Engineer
- 4+ years of supporting Windows and Linux environments in
on-premise scenarios
- 2+ years of AWS Web Services: RDS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, SQS,
Elasticache, SES, Route53, and VPC
- 1+ year of creating and installing domain certificates on AWS ELBs
- 2+ years of supporting AWS developed applications
