Overview:
A professional service team is moving Experian’s CIS’s division environment
to Hadoop. This has resulted in them looking to hire 2 dev leads to help
with this initiative and being the Go-To big data leaders for the team.
Skills Needed
- *Ability to Develop new functionality (will be Re-plat forming
existing solution)*
- *Ability to Build Solution from ground up*
- *Full life-cycle development experience in a big data environment*
- *Experience with Batch applications*
- *Experience with Hadoop customer is using Cloudera 5.7*
- *Development experience in Scala preferred*
- *Up to two years’ experience as a Hadoop Developer*
Must Haves
- *Strong expertise with Big Data and Hadoop technologies*
- *Practical knowledge/expertise in Hive and/or Spark SQL*
- *Experience writing cloud deployed applications using Amazon Web
Services*
- *Developed solutions using continuous integration, and automated
testing*
- *Experience in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban,
Lean or XP*
- *A deep-seated desire to learn new skills*
- *Comfort with collaboration in a team environment*
- *Mentored other developers*
- *BS or MS in Computer Science, or comparable experience*
