Experience in creating and troubleshooting complex Boerne and K-Shell scripts. Perl a plus. Hands on experiences with open source systems monitoring tools such as Hobbit, xymon, Big Brother, or Nagios and adding additional monitoring scripts through scripting. Experience with Solaris O/S patching and Firmware patches and establishing methodologies for patch rollouts. Experience with additional Solaris implementation of Zones, LDOMS, ZFS filesystems, storage pools, snaps, clones, and containers. Experience with Symantec Storage Foundation Suite, Solaris Disk Suite, Volume Manager, and Veritas Clusters. *Additional Experience with the following commercial monitoring packages is a plus:* I3, Wily, ITCAM. Experience with setting up Secure File Transfer Methods for data transfers using SSL-FTP or SFTP. Experience troubleshooting Network related issues and the administrator needs to have a solid understanding of vlans, routers, switches, firewalls, and access control lists. Strong Troubleshooting and Problem Identification Skills are needed to assist teams with problem resolution. Must possess the ability of working with multiple Teams in a large scale environment * * * * *II.* WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum Requirements:* Years Skills/Experience 9 Working in a 24x7 Data Center 5 Senior Solaris 9/10 Systems Administrator 5 Experience in creating and troubleshooting complex Boerne and K-Shell Scripting 5 Experience planning, implementing, and maintaining Solaris OS and Firmware patching. 5 Strong Troubleshooting Skills on Solaris 3 Experience with Symantec Storage Foundation, Disk Suite, Veritas Volume Manager, Clustering 3 Experience with Change Management and Control Processes 2 Solaris Containers, Zones, ZFS file Systems, storage pools, snaps, clones, and containers. 2 Experience with Solaris LDOM’s 2 System Monitoring Tools Installation and Configuration, Strong Strong Oral and written communication Skills, Documentation Processes * * * * * Preferences:* Years Skills/Experience 3 Experience with Windows 2003 & 2008 Administration 3 Experience with Active Directory, Domains, DNS 2 Experience with Script Writing for Additional Monitoring 2 Experience with Wily Monitoring 2 Experience with I3 Monitoring 2 Experience with Hobbit Monitoring * * *III. TERM OF SERVICE* Services expect to start approximately June 14, 2010 and are expected to be completed by August 31, 2010. Total estimated Worker hours shall not exceed 456 hours per worker.
