*OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION:*

The purpose of this position is to perform agile project management
activities for complex, high profile programs and projects, working with
cross-functional IT teams and product owners to deliver business solutions;
and to provide expert guidance and expertise to self-organizing teams in
the areas of agile/iterative planning, agile execution techniques, and
cross-team coordination.



*ESSENTIAL DUTIES:*

The position’s essential duties include the following:

·      Performs agile project management activities including planning,
execution, tracking and reporting;

·      Develops and reports team status and metrics to various stakeholders;

·      Coordinates deployments and ensures compliance with change control
procedures;

·      Works as a Scrum Master, conducts and effectively participates in
sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing,  sprint reviews and
retrospectives;

·      Assists team with making appropriate commitments through story
selection, task definition;

·      Scales Scrum to large project teams using techniques such as “scrum
of scrums” to allow clusters of teams to discuss their work, focusing
especially on areas of overlap and integration;

·      Leads the development and maintenance of team standards, tools, and
best practices;

·      Identifies and removes impediments, prevents distractions;

·      Takes the leadership role in cultivating robust and sustainable
working relationships between business and technology teams.

·      Fosters an environment of cross-team collaboration and teamwork;

·      Serves as a coach for other Scrum Masters and Agile Project Managers;

·      Facilitates team self-organization and self-management rather than
traditional command-control/directed styles;

·      Encourages an environment where the team drives progress and feels
ownership for its success;

Please remember they want someone from a Tier III help desk  (highest
escalation) from a service provider who had multiple sites and 1000’s of
end –users.

The group supports our franchise customers, i.e. Starbucks, Taco Bell, CVS,
BP Gas Stations – each customer has a minimum of 100 locations and 1000’s
of end users.  This team is the highest level of escalation.



*Required: *

·         BS Degree

·         Provide technical support to manage a large enterprise networks.

·         Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and
devices.

·         Plans and supports network infrastructure.

·         Documents network problems and resolution for future reference.

·         Provide clear technical documentation and written procedures to
ensure other members of the support organization can assist in monitoring,
troubleshooting and changing complex customer environments.

·         Runs network applications testing, and may also include running
performance tests.

·         Requires monitoring and troubleshooting of platform and OS based
problems, network infrastructure and connectivity issues.

The client needs these developers to have strong communication skills and
need to be somewhat personable.

The top skills are Agile, Node.JS, and Web Services.  The nice to have here
is Scala but is by no means a requirement.  Communication will be key as
this individual will be on an indefinite contract!

*Responsibilities: *

o    You are proficient in Node.JS and have worked with open source SQL and
NoSQL databases as well as REST/JSON APIs. You've worked with highly
scalable products that involve some, or all of the following components:
ecommerce, fault-tolerance, high availability, and distributed
microservices.

o    You have 3-7 years of relevant experience and/or a bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science. You are looking to get in on the ground floor of a
well-funded startup with a proven leadership team. Prior startup experience
is a huge plus!

large-scale system in product, and your designs and implementations reflect
that understanding. You love sleeping soundly knowing that your
