*Job Description:- *As a Developer, you will develop, support, and deliver
specific Business Intelligence services. You will utilize ETL processes
Data Stage to develop data warehousing solutions.
Your specific duties as a Developer will include:
• Interacting with business users to gather project requirements and to
deliver reports and other user interfaces
• Extracting data from its source and configuring data to be loaded into
the data warehouse
• Troubleshooting and correcting data and data processing errors in
existing solutions
• Ensuring project delivery on committed date
• Working with other technical teams as well as with internal and external
users in order to develop technical designs
• Reviewing designs with the rest of the project team as appropriate
• Creating detailed documentation of data warehouse, data marts, and ETL
and presenting results to Technology department
• Attending and contributing to architecture meetings to determine project
scope, timeframe and cost estimates
• Understanding the data warehouse and data mart models as well as being
familiar with the business information contained in each
• Keeping current on the latest business intelligence technology
• Familiar with Agile development principles
Job Requirements
• Minimum 8+ years business intelligence and data warehousing experience
• General understanding of Service Based Architecture, concepts and
principals
• Success incorporating heterogeneous applications and data sources into
business focused solutions
• Thorough understanding of and experience in ETL (Data Stage, Microsoft
Integration Services/SSIS)
• Working knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling techniques
• Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Experience with DB2, SQL database
• Superior analytic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication, consulting and presentation
skills
• Ability to understand the big picture and business drivers
• Proven track record as a team leader
