Position : *Network Engineer*-Cisco Location : Phoenix, AZ Duration : 3 months with probable extension Length: 3 months with probable extension. Pay Rate: 60/hour They prefer local candidates, and would most likely want to interview them face to face if they live here. Position Description: This role calls for a Cisco Network Engineer – generalist type of background (*meaning they should be fluent in routing/switching – but able to handle patching, configurations, and such across Cisco switches – routers – F5 devices – and APC’s*). Lifelock runs a monthly network vulnerability scan that creates a task/backlog list of items needing attention and remediation within their network environment. The engineer will need to review and interpret this monthly report, work with the network management team to classify and prioritize the items and chew through the remediation’s which involve installing patches, configuration changes, updates and in some cases removal/replacement of a device that is showing problems. The typical issues are found to reside on the Cisco switches, F5 Devices, or APC’s which are the smart power supply modules powering racks and server banks for power monitoring and distribution depending on load). This role is best served by a Cisco Network Engineer – CCNP level or CCNA with significant experience.
