skill set:
compellent -monitor storage analytics/performance metrics -deal with any
volume sizing/change requests -acknowledge and address server/storage path
issues -ensure data availability -ensure replication is functioning/in good
working order (latency, queue depth) -same for backups/snapshots depending
on solution vmware -acknowledge and address any alarms/events -ensure
server/vm's are distributed properly -pay attention to host performance
metrics including storage path latency and capacity -monitor cluster
memory/cpu utilization -tackle vm hardware requirement changes (memory/cpu
reservations/disk sizing) servers -basic ucs hardware troubleshooting
skills -acknowledge and address hardware issues - ipmi -may be other brand
servers so basic familiarity with idrac (dell) or ilo (hp)?
*Need hands-on experience with ucs and vmware.*
