* Responsibilities:*
* Subject Matter Expert to assist in developing the architecture, support
and services for specific IT applications.
* Leads and reviews system design activities to assure applications
solutions will exhibit expected levels of performance, security,
scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability
upon deployment.
* Consults with end users to test and debug applications to meet client
needs.
* May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the
top level contributor/specialist.
* Lead technical design sessions with the development teams, including the
creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, and detailed
design specifications to ensuring that architecture standards are followed.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor's degree in a related area and 7+ years of experience in the
field or in a related area.
* Experience in systems architectural design with working knowledge of
Software Development Lifecycle.
* Experience as a Project Manager, Team Lead and/or Manager.
* Ability to work with Business Analysts in translation of modification of
requirements.

Notes from call:
- Pega architect role- 7-8 years of pega development experience, 3 years
of architecture experience certifications.
- Does not want anyone under 8 years of total experience.
- App architect. should work independently, there will not be any other
developers working with them on this project.
- Independent project. Must have strong comm. skills.
- Architect has any exposure to mobile development.
- In 2nd phase of portal dev. project, rolled out in June/July. Soft
launch up to several groups in just a few months. Got approval the mid
market segment to be brought on to portal. March release.
- Requirements currently being targeted.
- High visible project for CF
- Changing strategy for small/mid market groups.
- Design being executed on mobile/tablets and desktop.
- Healthcare not required. always a plus.
- Solid pega experience version 6 is current one being used.
- 2 resources being hired. Will work on 2 diff tracks, some integration
between the two. Will have their own deliverables.
- Duration- 6 months. A lot of traction for current project, received
more enhancement requests from sales team. expected to go beyond 6 months.
- 100% on site.
- Interview: phone screen then in person. No Skype.
- Interviews will start next week.
