*Positions: Windows Server Network Security Administrator Location:
Louisville, KY Duration: 12+ months Responsibilities *The security
administrator should have experience in working with Different versions Of
Windows Server operating systems , VMware and network devices – routers and
firewalls . The resource needs to be a work independently with various
application teams for implementing security and maintenance compliance on
servers and network devices. Effective communication with the IS
Application teams is critical to achieving success with this position.
On the Windows and VMware side responsibilities will include configuration,
maintenance, support, troubleshooting, issue remediation for GPO, Security
patches and MSB of all production and test Windows servers.  Maintaining
the highest availability of all systems is of utmost priority. Period /
scheduled after hours support of these systems is required.
On the Network security side responsibilities will include assessment of
vulnerabilities on network devices , IOS upgrades , port filtering and
finding out vulnerable ports/ protocols and services – DOS/ IP filtering ,
Firewall-1 PASV (CVE-2000-0150 and BID 979),Firewall-1 Script Tags
(CVE-2000-0116 and ,BID 954),Forwarding External Packets Claiming to be
Internal (CAN-1999-0528), Forwarding Packets From Reserved Addresses
(CAN-1999-0529),Cisco PIX and CBAC Fragmentation Attack (CVE-1999-0157 and
Cisco bug ID CSCdk36273), Raptor Denial of Service (CVE-1999-0905 and BID
736),Cisco PIX Firewall SMTP Content Filtering Evasion Vulnerability
(CVE-2000-1022 and BID 1698)


* Mandatory Skill Required - *Expert in handling mix mode Windows 2000,
Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows 2012 environment from server
Administrator perspective.
Strong hands-on experience on security and non-security patch remediation
on large scale of Windows server environment.
Knowledge on Active directory, GPO, Domain users, Administrating users and
groups and given appropriate permissions and privilege to access.
Experience in creating and implementing new GPO for various domains.
Experience in Server hardening, security permissions, User rights
assignments on windows 2003 and windows 2008 servers.
Experience in Active directory in windows 2003 and 2008 servers.
Well understanding about the PCI /SOX PHI compliance concepts.
Expert Knowledge of Security patches installation process on server
environment.
Must have experience in Security patch tools – Blade-logic, Shavlik, WSUS
Knowledge in Qualys report analysis and remediation is must
Vulnerability management and remediation on Windows servers.
Good Knowledge of third party vendor applications on vulnerabilities such
as Web and JAVA, Adobe applications.
Familiarity with VMware concepts and how they apply to a highly virtualized
environment
Cisco IOS Malformed IPV4 Packet Denial of Service Vulnerability remediation
Assessment and remediation of vulnerabilities on network devices , IOS
upgrades , port filtering and finding out vulnerable ports/ protocols and
services – DOS/ IP filtering, ACL etc
