*Job Description:*

1. The PM3 will Plan out the remaining phases and projects for the
Universal Special Education Forms project using deliverables and
information from the first phase of the project completed last year.  The
PM will create a long-term project plan, dividing the deliverables and
associated work into phases. – 70%

2. Work with and manage the State Software Development Team (SSDT) through
their PM to ensure tasks and schedules for the SSDT Client work stay on
target. – 20%

3. BA experience is helpful as there will be some analysis required. – 10%



PM3 will be working with an ODE Project Manager, Program staff from the
Office for Exceptional Children, Data Manager assigned to the Office for
Exceptional Children, and an outside off site development team named State
Software Development Team (SSDT).

The Universal Special Education Forms project Phase 1 was started and
completed in 2016 and included research, analysis, and recommendations to
go forward with the client system that is owned by ODE but hosted and
supported by the SSDT.  The resource will work on Phase 2 of this project
which includes planning out the go forward projects, phases, and
deliverables as well as working with the SSDT team in completion of their
initial development of the Special Education extension of the Client system
to accommodate this overall project.





*Requirements:*

7 to 8 years of project planning and schedule creation experience using
Microsoft Project and Excel.

7 to 8 years PM1, PM2, and PM3 qualifications as defined in the Guide soft
job description.

PMP Certification.

5 years’ Experience preparing status reports on a periodic basis.

5 years’ Experience building and maintaining relationships with key
stakeholders and customer representatives.

5 years’ Experience identifying and tracking project and development issues.

8 years’ Experience simultaneously managing multiple projects with or
without sub-projects.

8 years’ Experience identifying and managing project risks and developing
risk mitigation strategies, as well as tracking to closure.

3 years’ Experience with management of contracted requirements and vendor
relationships.



*Desired:*

2 years’ Experience utilizing Microsoft SharePoint

Experience as a project manager in a state or federal government
environment.

Knowledge of Education or Special Education.
