*Positions: Linux Admin Location: Scottsdale, AZ Duration: 12+ months* 8-10 year’s of experience as Linux Engineer/Administrator ( must have) . In-depth knowledge of RHEL 6 · Strong Linux system administration (RedHat) and troubleshooting skills. Solid ability to troubleshoot a variety of performance issues (with cpu/mem/disk) and other problems. Performance tuning in RedHat Linux Good knowledge of basic Networking (TCP/UDP/DNS/Subnets/MTU etc) · Strong understanding of init scripts, creating new filesystems, /proc and other sysadmin essentials. Understanding of Raid Levels (Raid 1,5,1+0, 0+1) . Monitoring of Linux servers using Nagios or any monitoring tool · Experience with system management tools, logical file systems etc. · Experience in Production Server Environment. · Experience in managing enterprise Linux environment with 1000’s of physical servers. · Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Big Data /Hadoop knowledge will be a big added advantage. RedHat Satellite Server knowledge or any other system build tools. Knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet.
