Position: SAP DBA Location: NJ Duration: 3-6 months *Job Description* Database Logging and Monitoring security analyst responsible for maintaining systems to protect data from unauthorized users. Primary data repositories are SAP ERP systems with Oracle backends but will also be responsible for monitoring Windows/SQL Server databases as well. This analyst identifies, reports, and may assist in resolving security violations. Regularly develops reports and analyses and presents these to the global availability monitoring leader. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required, requiring the ability to self-manage in a virtual-team setting. *Primary Responsibilities: * • Define SAP Oracle tables to monitor on an ongoing basis – Imperva Database Logging Tool System Administration • Run ad hoc network/application reports for management for general detection and also for incident response requests after GIS or other teams have already responded to an incident • Manage alert notifications for suspicious/malicious behavior detection – send email notification to local contact person per work instruction • Manage Administration • Work with/oversee vendor for their remote support access into the local BD devices • Create dashboards to help management view metrics • Document Imperva device and software upgrades and patches – Imperva changes and issues pertaining to Imperva devices • Serve as on-call person for in and after hours support issues with Database Logging and Monitoring System (Imperva) • Troubleshoot Imperva devices and maintain availability *Skills/Education: * * Industry certification in security practices with at least 2-4 years of experience in a security-related role a plus. *Manager comments: * * Not a full DBA, but working knowledge of how Oracle and SQL Server databases work * SAP Basis or other SAP Finance related working experience * TCP/IP Basic understanding Thanks & Regards Adem Technical Recruiter Vertigon Consulting Phone: 201-402-1610 Fax: 732-398-0506 Email: [email protected] URL: www.vertigonconsulting.com IM: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
