When we speak about release item, it may be related to a chunk of work (task) for which the resource will be responsible. The resource will be responsible for developing the technical specification, write JUnit test cases and develop/modify the application. The application would be developed on Eclipse IDE on Windows platform with technologies including (but not limited to) struts, Spring MVC, Spring DAO, Spring WebFlow, Hibernate, JQuery, AJAX, MSSQL, IBM DB2. - Need to have a good understanding on usage of Eclipse, integrating eclipse with various plugins like IVY etc - Should have good knowledge on Clearcase and Clearquest. Should be able to create streams, baselines, rebasing operations, create change requests, tasks, deliver streams etc - Should be able to independently do code review and make sure that proper standards and guidelines are followed. - Should be adaptable to work on new technologies like Mobile banking, etc - Periodically (on a rotational basis) might be responsible for handling/fixing production issues.
