REQ: Location: 4 weeks in Altoona, PA and 2 weeks in Binghamton New York NET/SharePoint consultant and architect This is for a US based architectural level consultant who is expert level in .NET and Sharepoint. This person must also have excellent communication skills and be comfortable talking with senior executives at the customer. The candidate must also be able to lead a team. The following skills are also needed: · Previous experience in the health care domain is required. · The ability to lead JAD type meetings. · Ability to gather requirements, both functional and technical in a well written manner. · Ability to listen and interact with all levels of staff so proper requirements may be gathered. · Ability to estimate work effort for complex software solutions. Responsibilities This candidate is being recruited for two positions. Position I A firm who has a complex application that manages information on health care services provided to individuals is considering a re-write. This application was developed over twenty years ago and has grown over the years to be quite large. Our approach will be to time box a requirements gathering engagement where Prime runs a set of JAD sessions with the customer. During these sessions, requirements will be entered into a spreadsheet model that will be used to perform “what if” analysis. This will allow the customer to decide how the current application will be re-written in phases. The candidate will need to run these JAD sessions, complete the spreadsheet, provide the estimates and author a proposal for the re-write of the application. This person will also lead the development effort of the new application. This client is in Altoona, Pa. There will be four weeks of onsite time required. Position II The skills for this position are very similar to the first position. This customer has an existing application that needs to have modifications made and reviewed from an architectural perspective. Platform and architectural changes need to be provided in well written manner. A thorough of the Microsoft stack is required. This is necessary because all of the platform offerings are considerations for recommendations. This is a two week engagement in Binghamton New York. This person will lead the development effort for the new system.
