*IT Project Manager Consultant* *Location:* Charlotte, NC *Length:* 12+ months rate: $50/hr max *Description:* · Responsible for systems analysts and application development activities through direct and indirect staff. · Directs development teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning, and standard development practices. · Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project objectives are met in a timely manner. · Possesses in-depth knowledge of principals, theories, practices, and techniques for managing activities related to planning, managing and implementing systems analysis and applications development projects. · Manages a cross-functional project of medium complexity · Able to deliver projects on time and within budget, meeting high quality standards and customer expectations. · Able to analyze business unit technology needs, dissecting problems and suggesting process oriented solutions. · Actively identifies any issues or risks associated with a project, escalating them and possibly implementing mitigation strategies for risk prevention and timely resolution. · Serves as liaison between IT and business units or vendors; gathers, analyzes, and communicates business needs and requirements to the IT organization. · Negotiates deliverables from initial requirements to final implementation across multiple business units / functional areas. *Responsibilities:* · Good knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques. · Good grasp of human resource management techniques. · Coordinates small numbers of staff to manage a cross-functional project of medium complexity. · May serve as back-up for manager. *Experience/ Education:* · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field. · Project Management Certification preferred. · 4 to 6 years of IT work experience and project management. · Strong understanding of SDLC. -- ______________ With Kind regards ABHI | Technical Recruiter | Cigniti Inc ® [email protected] 1304 W Walnut Hill Lane.
