Location: Greensboro, NC (direct face to face interview)
Duration: 1 year plus contract
Our client is in search of a Mid-Level SharePoint contractor that can: Help
Build the Presentation Layer/front end and then connect to a SQL Metadata
registry. Then use that information to Present Audit Reports.
Main skills SharePoint Designer: and Pull Data out of SQL - normalize the
data and present in SharePoint 2010 environment. Strong T-SQL Skills are a
must
They are in the SharePoint 2003 and 2007... Must have 2007 experience.
Overall Goal is to Build a Wiki-data-pedia
· Developer will be developing a Wiki Site in SharePoint 2007
· Key Developer will be charged to stored procedures, views and
tables to run daily, weekly and monthly reports using SQL Server 2008
· Developer will be creating linked servers and developed SQL
queries to migrate Oracle views to SQL Server 2008
· Another key skill will be importing data from Excel Spread sheets
to SharePoint lists for the users to view the information
· You will need to use SharePoint designer and BDC (Business Data
Catalog) to integrate SQL Server 2008 with SharePoint site
· Involved in training other users on SQL Server 2008 and SharePoint
2007
· KEY SKILLS: Developing custom web parts using C# to change the
look and feel of Wiki Site
§ Developing C# code to convert BLOB data present in SQL Server table to
respective data types
o Working on assigning permissions to the users accordingly in SharePoint
Wiki Site
Get the data from SQL Server 2008 backend to SharePoint Wiki front
end
o Developing Search in Wiki Site
o Working on integrating SharePoint Site with SQL Server 2008, SAP,
Oracle
