*SUMMARY: *

We are looking for an experienced Siebel Specialist with over 8 years of
Siebel experience. The following individual must have experience in leading
a minimum of two major Siebel upgrade projects from Siebel 7.X to
Siebel 8.Xand have been in an architect role for at least 5+ years.
This individual
will be responsible for coming in and leading the initial Siebel upgrade
assessment, working with the Siebel Project manager to establish realistic
timelines, helping to form the upgrade project plan, providing upgrade
recommendations, helping us develop our strategic roadmap. The role requires
an extensive knowledge and experience of the Siebel Architecture, IVR,
Siebel Integration, Siebel Configuration, Siebel Work Flow, Siebel Business
Services (eScript), and data integrity / data fixes using EIM and PL/ SQL
(Oracle). The ideal candidate must have experience in leading large
enterprise projects and in managing direct reports.



*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *

• Lead the upgrade from Siebel 7.7 to 8.X. • Help develop our companies
strategic Siebel Roadmap. • Lead the initial Siebel Upgrade Assessment. •
Assist with the correct sizing of our new environment. • Make hardware
recommendations. • Review our existing implementation of Siebel and provide
recommendations and improvements. • Understand the business requirements and
processes that underpin the technical design of each solution. • Provide
technical consultancy to functional requirements derived from the business
requirements. • Determine the technical design and document (for review) the
technical solution to be implemented. • Provide technical investigation and
consultancy to other Business Units where Siebel experience is required. •
Interface with the development team leader during planning and progress
activities. • Co-ordinate and plan (personal) daily, weekly and monthly
tasks in line with the detailed development plan. • Understand the Program
initiatives, plans and other work-stream dependencies through regular
meetings and updates. • Provide regular updates (to Team/ Team
Leader/Delivery Manager) as to task progress against plans, issues
encountered and potential risks to the work-stream. • Raise and follow-up on
any Change Requests (CR) created for such releases, where initiated by this
role.



*QUALIFICATIONS: *

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in related discipline • 5+ years
experience in a Siebel Architect Role • Experience with server hardware
virtualization • 10+ years experience in systems analysis and application
program development • Minimum of five years of Siebel 7 and above experience
• Minimum of eight years experience with writing and debugging Siebel
eScript • Minimum of eight years experience with Siebel configuration
(Siebel tools, Siebel workflow, Siebel business services, & Siebel EAI) • At
least three years experience with Siebel Integration – Web Services • At
least four years experience with writing and debugging PL/SQL. • At least
five years experience leading and managing large projects and assignments. •
Advance performance tuning skills with Siebel/Oracle/Actuate • Working
knowledge of Unix systems. • Good judgment and communication skills •
Ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staffs •
Ability to lead direct reports. • Ability to communicate effectively with
the Business customer to identify their needs and objectives, also
demonstrate a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs
