This is a great position for a self-starter with strong technical and organization skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work and lead projects with limited supervision. It also requires experience with developing and deploying QA strategies and best practices. *Responsibilities *This is not an all inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities required of this position: • Develop, manage and execute test plans and test cases. • Generate test reports and traceability matrix. • Ability to decompose high-level business requirements into test scenarios. • Setup and maintain test environments. • Deploy software in Linux environment from .jar and .war files. • Build automated data-driven test harnesses. • Investigate and conduct root cause analysis of software and system defects. • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others. • Mentor and supervise more junior members of the team. • Must be able to troubleshoot and, deploy Java apps and services in Linux environment, knowledge what White Box testing.=== *Must have skills:* * Soap UI *- Knowledge of JMS or how messaging works. - Hands on experience with White box, Grey box, and Black box testing techniques at unit-integration phase. - Experience testing web based user interfaces - Experience maintaining a set of test data. - Basic database SQL skills (DB2 is a plus) - Develops and monitors traceability matrix. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others. - Proficient in investigating and providing bug related data such as log files, screen captures, etc. - 2+ years test lead experience - 2+ years Java (ability to start/stop app servers, knowledge of RMI interfaces, knowledge of basic Java concepts like multi-threading), ability to build java applications (Ant, javac). - Proficient creating test plans, test cases and test report.
