*Job Title: QA Automation Tester (8 Positions) Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 6-12 months* *Job description is very detailed for this position. Please read the job description and required skills and desired skills sections for details: Participate in Test Planning activities and develop automation strategies and frameworks Design, build, test, deploy, maintain and execute effective test automation solutions by understanding precisely what the test designer wants any given test case or group of test cases to accomplish Design, Develop, Execute and Maintain complex automated tests using HP QTP that requires highly complex scripting in VB Script Plan, generate, maintain and executes detailed test plans and scripts for verification of software functionality Use HP Quality Center for Defect tracking, requirement gathering, and planning, analyzing results, storing and executing the Automated Test Scripts. Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for various Software products Evaluate the non-functional requirements for testability and participate in the review of the technical acceptance criteria. As a technical expert in their field, focus on automating functional testing. Responsible for developing test automation scripts and also responsible for creating tools using VB.NET <http://vb.net/> framework to script. Write complex Queries in SQL for reading and updating data from various DB2 and/or Oracle databases for input/output to automated scripts Maintain the Test Automation Solution for any ongoing changes and maintenance Document test results and automation progress as well as methods and techniques used Identify, design and develop creative solutions for practical test automation problems during design, scripting, execution or maintenance of the automated solution* *Must have all the below: Four or more years experience in test automation using any test automation tool (Preferably QTP) Strong Working Experience with HP Quality center Strong Working Experience with HP QTP including heavy scripting in VB script Strong Working Experience using SQL or similar query language for SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or UDB Strong understanding of relational database schemas and ability to write complex SQL queries.
