Job Description:
Under the direction of the Chief Data Architect, serves as an expert Data
Modeler overseeing and promoting the design of models for operational data
store ODS, and reference data.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Build conceptual, logical and physical ODS, MDM and DW data models; both
real-time and batch.
Creates standards and best practices.
Validate and review others data models.
Communicate and lead model review sessions with technical and business
constituencies.
Minimum Core Competencies:
*1. Must be an expert data modeler.
2. 10 years of continuous and recent experience as a specialist in data
modeling / data architecture.*
REQUIREMENTS
Skills:
ER modeling
MDM modeling
Dimensional modeling
ETL experience and skills NOT REQUIRED
Very good communications skills
Experience:
10 years of full lifecycle ODS and DW experience leading data modeling
efforts.
