Position: Oracle DBA Job Location: Tulsa, OK Duration: 6-12 months DBA Skills/Experience: Oracle 10g and 11g, Oracle encryption/decryption function or packages Project description: Oracle DB migration from non-Unicode to Unicode - need application DBA to resolve the issue of the currently used encryption/decryption package which works for non-unicode, but doesn't work for Unicode. These changes will impact many DB table structures that would require changing as well as existing ETL processes. Historical data will also need to be migrated from non-unicode to Unicode. Currently the DB(s) are Oracle 10g and there is a project to migrate the 10g DB to 11g DB, so the ultimate encryption/decryption solution would have to work in both versions (10g and 11g) of Oracle.
