This individual will be part of an energetic and results-oriented systems
development team to define, construct, and maintain customer-facing Client
website applications.
Position requires a well rounded programmer/analyst with highly technical
hands-on development experience as well as Project Management / Analytical /
Business skills.
Ø Plan, design and develop web-based applications to support the “*CLIENT*“
customer-facing websites including *eCatalog* and *eCommerce applications*.
Ø Hands-on programming of new and existing *eBusiness applications* is a
critical job component.
Ø As required, responsible for the complete system development life cycle -
producing detailed User Requirements, Functional/Technical Specification,
Coding, Testing, and Implementation.
Ø Provide support of existing applications including troubleshooting, bug
fixes, and minor enhancements of existing applications.
Ø Configuration and administration of third-party utilities and applications
as required to support eBusiness.
*Position Qualifications/Competencies - Required*
Ø *7+ years of hands on working experience *designing, coding, testing,
documenting and maintaining web based applications in a multiple platform
environment. External customer website experience preferred.
Ø *Development and implementation experience* with the following
technologies
a.*Required*: J*2EE/Java, JavaScript, AJAX, and Oracle SQL. *
b.*Preferred:* Unix, Dojo, Websphere, PL/SQL, Apache, and Shell scripting,
Ø Experience authoring Business Requirements, Functional/Technical
Specifications, Use Cases, Data Models, and Test Plans.
Ø Must be self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to multi-task
and work as part of large team environment.
Ø Excellent oral and written communication. Confident communicator,
comfortable communicating with project sponsor and user champions.
*Required Education Level: *
Ø Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science/Engineering OR equivalent
experience and knowledge required.
